I see a curl!

All of this hot muggy air is great for curly hair. I haven't been complaining! Today after Audrey got out of the pool the hair on the back of her head started to curl right up. It's so cute. I had to snap this picture!

We all scream for ice cream!

On Thursday evening after dinner we ran to get ice cream. It's one of Audrey's favorite outings. She loves to get a baby cone and feed herself, which makes a rather huge mess but if you try to assist her prepare for a screaming, foot-stomping tantrum because she's clearly afraid you're going to take away her precious ice cream. I like ice cream, but it's not my favorite of all sweet treats. I'm thinking Audrey got her love of ice cream from Daddy!
Eventually there was more cone left than ice cream, so Audrey decided she wanted out of that chair and needed to run around the yard with her cone in hand. Audrey loves to snack on the go!

Just a little yardwork!

Yesterday Audrey got to ride the tractor with Daddy. She wasn't completely sold on the idea when Jeff started it up, but once they got going she was loving it and didn't want to get off!
It was an exciting day of dethatching, lawn sweeping & then fertilizing, but hopefully it will get the lawn looking better and greener. I think the dethatching was key! Jeff wants a plug aerator next. I swear we have more lawn tools and crap than anyone I know!

Audrey spent some time watching Daddy on the tractor from the comfort of her chair and drinking my water out of a regular glass. Her favorite!While Audrey napped I worked on the backyard a bit and got a sunburn on my back & shoulders. The flagstone patio has created a whirlwind of activity in the backyard though. Once it's complete (if it ever is) I'll post some pics!
